Women's Ministry

The Hope Alliance Church Women's Ministry extend to all women to come together in Christ, encouraging one another and sharing the gifts that God has given each one of use. There are many ministry opportunities available at Hope Alliance Church focusing on Education, Outreach, Prayer, and Care. The Women's Ministry is Christ-centered for the purpose of study, prayer, Christian growth, evangelism, missions, mentoring, and fellowship.

Women's Bible Studies

The Women's Ministry offers two Bible studies for women:

Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study (9:00 am to 11:30 am)
Women’s study held in a home setting on Tuesdays. (September to May)
Childcare is provided.

Thursday Evening Women’s Bible Study (7:00 pm to 9:00 pm)
Women’s study held in a home setting on Thursdays. (September to May)

AWM Connection (October Event)

You are invited to attend the first ever Connection event of the North West area or the Mid-Atlantic District, connecting women of local Alliance Churches to each other through Workshops, Fellowship, Praise and Worship. Come! Participate! Make a Connection!

Outreach

Women at The Hope Alliance Church meet regularly to pray and provide for our missionaries as well as a time of fellowship and community with women. These events are available for every woman interested in knowing more about our church or those seeking fellowship with other Christian women.

Prayer

Prayer is incorporated at every level in the Women's ministry at Hope Alliance Church. If you have a specific prayer request, please contact the Church Office or submit a prayer request from our web site.

Care

The people of Hope Alliance Church have found many opportunities to reach out to the physical and spiritual needs our local community.

The Women's Ministry supports our missions through the donation of medical supplies and money raised from the collection of used stamps. Collectable stamp types include:

  • Common Postage Stamps (1/2 cent through first class stamps)
  • Christmas Stamps
  • Junk Mail Stamps
  • Large Commemorative Stamps
  • Express Stamps
  • Priority Stamps
  • Canadian Stramps (small, Christmas, and commemorative)
  • All Foreign Stamps
